The Ice Buster is a high-quality tool that's designed to attach to the fiberglass hot stick you already carry on your truck, and it can be safely used from the ground without having to climb a pole or climb into a bucket. Just lift it to the wire and walk, letting it ride the line behind you. The Ice Buster turns and shears away the ice with just light to moderate effort on your part, depending on the size of the conductor and ice accumulation. In other words, it works while you walk.
