PG&E has opened a state-of-the-art, $28.5 million electric distribution grid control center. By early next year, it will be one of three new grid control centers - the others in Concord and Rocklin - that will control PG&E's 140,000-circuit-mile electric distribution system that delivers electricity to homes and businesses.
